2019 BC Assessment

By now you should have received your 2019 BC Assessment. It’s important to remember that the assessed values are an estimate by, BC Assessment, of your property determined as of July 1, 2018 and do not reflect market changes and price drops that may have occurred since then.

Market value, on the other hand, is the projected price that a house will sell for within a projected period of time that is considered reasonable. Market value is calculated by doing a comparative market analysis (a CMA), which is based on market conditions and current averages and on the typical buyer demographic for a property in that area.
